Browser Plugin for Developers: Auto Reload

Building sites, developing code, changing CSS, making the web wonderful? For far too long I’ve been hammering away at page refresh (F5 in most browsers) after making changes to a site or page. And when I’m developing a site this usually results in hundreds if not thousands of “refreshes”. Well, pssshaw. I won’t be doing that again.

Auto Reload is a plug-in for Firefox created by Yurii Zolot’ko that can monitor and compare last modified dates to any domain you specify. Currently at version 1.2.

I simply create a rule in the plugin options for the project domain I’m currently working on and viola! Never have to refresh again. If your a developer this is totally amazing! And if you’re not, hardly interesting.
