My Telus (I’m in B.C.) bill has an additional charge of $2.50 because when the power was out I called directory assistance for a number as I couldn’t look it up online as I normally would have.
You’ll get charged whether or not they can find the number you want.
If the number you want them to look up is overseas it’s $6.95 or $8.95 depending on whether or not you are a Telus Long Distance customer.
Just wanted to share so you know. I was surprised.
