My browser start-up page recently changed so that I was automatically logged into one of my google accounts—The wrong one!
I didn’t know what happened, or what caused the change, but I wanted to CHANGE THINGS BACK so that I was logged into my “personal” google account when I launched my web browser. Here’s how to change your default google account when you start up your browser.
- Open your browser, navigate to any google page (search page or gmail account), and from your profile picture at top right choose SIGN OUT or SIGN OUT OF ALL ACCOUNTS.
- Now navigate to gmail.com and sign-in with the account you wish to be your default account when you open your browser.
That’s it! Once you’ve signed out of all your google accounts, then login to gmail, that will be your new default google login when you open your browser.
